En: The day of 24th of December , Christmas Eve, is a feast day for all Romanians. All preparation for Christmas are done.It's time to celebrate . It's time for little kids to start their trail from house to house and sing beautiful Christmas carols and give Christmas cheers.It's the night when Santa brings presents to good kids. We were pretty good so Santa came to our house also:)
The Romanian name for "Christmas Day" is " Craciun " .It's generally a peaceful day like everywhere in the world.But that doesn't mean we don't have specific traditions. And here in Baia Mare they still exist!Early in the morning little boys come with "The Star". They announce the star is up and shinning and the blessed baby will come soon. Merry Christmas everybody...
Ro: Ziua de 24 Decembrie este pt romani , Ajunul Craciunului. Toate pregatirile pt Craciun sunt gata si e timpul pt sarbatoare. E timpul ca, copiii sa iasa la colindat si sa imparta magia Craciunului cu toata lumea.Este seara in care Mos Craciun vine la cei cuminti! Si noi am fost cat de cat cuminti asa ca Mosul ne-a facut si noua o vizita:)
Craciunul in Romania e aproape ca peste tot in lume, dar asta nu inseamna ca nu avem traditiile noastre. Aici in Baia Mare, ele inca exista si este minunat sa vezi lumea la colindat si cum in diminata de Craciun, baietii vin cu "Steaua" sa anunte nasterea Domnului. Craciun Fericit tuturor...
